Disney-Day 6

Today we were at Hollywood Studios-we ate in a 50s diner at a great buffet.
We also rode the Toy Story ride-only once, because the wait was so long, but it was a great ride. Here's Kaila, playing with a giant Dominoe. The whole waiting area was decorated with classic toys-even the ceiling looked like a giant Chutes and Ladders board.

We also got the signatures of some characters we didn't expect to see...

And one we weren't surprised to see!

Disney-Day 5

Right after we rode the "It's a Small World" ride, first thing in the morning, we ran into the James family (Greenhouse friends). Apparently the world is actually smaller than we even knew!
We enjoyed a storytelling session with Belle.

Next, Kaila needed one more Splash Mountain thrill.

The girls got their Monorail co-pilot's license by taking a ride in the first car.

We then spent some time at the pool and the beach.

We feasted with Cinderalla and fam at their "Happily Ever After" (Gag) party.

Finally we ran back to watch an awesome night parade and the best darn fireworks show ever!

The is what happens when you get stung by a disney bee. Your hands swell up like Mickey's.

Disney-Day 4

Waiting in line for the first ride of the day-Peter Pan's Flight.

It was a day of firsts, and seconds...

The girls drove their first car.

Leah lost her second tooth.

And finally, after four days of searching, the three dwarves found Snow White.

What special gift does Leah have in store for Snow White? Check it out...

If you think that's good, check out what Kaila wants to show Snow White..

We decided to head back early to hit the pool before the Luau.

Disney-Day 3

Today's quote of the day points to the fact that, as we expected, Epcot wasn't quite as fun for the girls as Magic Kingdom.

Quote of the day: "Kaila, pull your pants up!!" reprimanded Phil as Kaila inexplicably mooned Epcot's tribute to Canada.

But we still managed to find some fun, and ended the day with Soarin' which was AWESOME in everyone's opinion but mine (but only because I'm afraid of heights and the views are actually quite breathtaking). So, with no further ado, the pictures, and, if you see nothing else here today, the video is worth the price of admission.

And now, after 342 straight days, the Rendall trio has successfully reset Epcot's "days without incident" counter back to zero. Here's a tip...wait for it...

Disney-Day 2

Today we ventured into Adventureland, Frontierland and Liberty Square, but didn't get out without a return trip to Fantasyland. The day's highlights included seeing 3 princesses and our first big roller coaster-Splash Mountain. It got a thumbs up from Leah and Kaila (who went on to be the only one brave enough to ride another roller coaster-twice!) and a vehement and somewhat frightened thumbs down from a very soaked Abi. We happened upon a random parade/dance party and ate too much ice cream. Here's the photo recap:

Disney-Day 1

Here's a little more of our first day. Things not pictured: Phil and I had our first Disney fight, before we entered the park (just wanted to get it out of the way:-), Leah whacked Kaila in the eye during the first frenzied minutes of excitement upon entering our hotel room, and exhausted kids sleeping quietly after dropping into bed at 10:00 pm.

Just before entering Ariel's grotto. . .
3-D glasses.

We made it!

The looks say it all. . . as we entered WDW.
At the Polynesian, we've already met a nice old Jewish lady who took a picture for us!
It's 3:45 and we're going in!! Check back later for more. . .
